Just after lowering Jack's cremains into the Pacific Ocean off the Kona Coast November 10, 2004.

Memorial table at Calvary Community Church Table lovingly decorated by Barb and Dave Stallings and Robin and Ray Hastings, two of Jack's beloved "adopted" families. Phoenix, Arizona. October 26, 2004. Among the items on and around the table: a stepladder, duct tape, Elmer's Glue, a worn-out typical Jack Vorfeld jumpsuit, his favorite bright red suspenders, a favorite Aloha shirt, a level, a screwdriver, a hand drill, nuts and bolts, green tape for tying around plants, an old coffee can with nails, screws, etc., a hand saw, a pipe wrench, a square, and some photos of Jack at different ages. I don't know the names of some of the tools. This table was an incredible tribute to Jack, and so very appropriate for a memorial service.
